Dr. Kimberly Keane DeNick is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics since 1996. Dr. DeNick grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and earned a bachelors of science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Scranton in 1988; pursued a masters in Biochemistry at the University of Scranton while serving as a Teaching Assistant; received her medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine of Temple University in 1993; and completed her pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Philadelphia in 1996.
Upon completion of her education and training, Dr. DeNick worked as a pediatric hospitalist for CHOP at West Jersey Hospital (now Virtua - Voorhees) and Temple University Children’s Medical Center along with serving as a consultant at Shriner’s Hospital, Philadelphia. She has been working as a community pediatrician in the South Jersey region since 1999.
Dr. DeNick is involved in a variety of community activities serving as a weekly volunteer since 2010 at St. Joan of Arc School, Marlton along with involvement in several church ministries; also active family involvement in serving the Voorhees Swim Club and Swim Team having three children on the swim team. Since 2019, Dr. DeNick has also served as a pediatrician on the State of NJ SUID (Sudden Unexplained Infant Death) Subcommittee that meets monthly under the Child Fatality and Near Fatality Review Board for the State of New Jersey.
Dr. DeNick joined Advocare Moorestown Pediatrics in 2019. She has a special interest in supporting breastfeeding success and just simply being involved in the journey of health and wellness for families. She is affiliated with Virtua - Voorhees hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey and Virtua - Memorial in Mt. Holly, New Jersey. She enjoys cooking, reading, volunteering but most importantly family time and traveling with her three children along with hiking New Jersey with her family and two rescue dogs.
